Hello  BlogTO!

I am excitedly creating this post to apply for the position of Community Manager. As a freelance social media expert, I have a very extensive understanding of managing multiple social media sites including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pintrest, Tumblr, LinkedIn and Google+. I have a firm understanding of social media analytics, Creative Suite, MailChimp, Hootsuite and Google Analytics. 

My marketing knowledge is vast, and have studied it extensively since 2008 when I first began my Marketing and Communications degree at Seneca College (completed 2009). I also have an excellent grasp of the english language, and a keen eye for social media etiquette.   

Since graduating from the program at Seneca I have assisted in marketing campaigns for brands both big and small. 

• A partner and I single handedly developed and executed a successful charity event for which I was responsible for all the online/offline marketing, social media, and PR. I have experience in writing every type of document ranging from email newsletters, to invitations, to marketing plans. 
• I have done marketing and social media with companies such as iYellow Wine Club, 4ormat, and Haute Classics just to name a few.

I am super organized and always focused on multitasking and list making so that I don't miss any important details. I thrive on being busy and achieving goals that I set or that are set for me.

Lastly, I am a proud Torontonian. I was born and raised in the city and pride myself on knowing all the trends before others do. I take pleasure in being a foodie, and in knowing which stores and spots are trending. I see the beauty in our city, and know all the nooks and crannies that make it special; and I would love the opportunity to share that via your incredible site.
